ROSETTE SWIRL |             SCULPTURE BY IVA VIANA

The Rosette is large medallion inspired by the Louis XIV style leaf scrolls, a motif that Iva Viana explored adding movement and repetition.
Inspired by the traditional techniques of stucco moulding, Iva Viana develops and executes objects that arise both from the fascination with the heritage left by the Portuguese masters and the desire of reinterpreting it.
